Pendant alarms provide immense security to older adults who spend some time alone. They allow for the person to summon help in the event of an emergency via a button that is usually worn either around the neck or on the wrist.

The pendant alarm grant scheme which previously covered 90% of the pendant alarms has been suspended. ‘Emergency Response’ was the company who supplied the pendant alarms through that grant.

They are now offering two options for people wishing to go privately:

  1. Rental Option: €50 one off payment for installation

 €9.75 per month for rental and monitoring of alarm

            This rental contract can be kept for as long as needed

  2. Rental/ Purchase Option: €100 once off payment for installation

      €12 per month for 3 years

     After 3 years client owns the pendant alarm and pays a standard annual fee of €80 for monitoring & servicing

Pendant alarms take 2-3 weeks to set up account and install but urgent cases can be accommodated.
